THE 2007 SHOW:  The Ninth Annual Autumn Leaf British Car Show was held Sept. 29, 2007 at Moravian Academy's Green Pond Campus. It was a perfect day for holding a car show, and a record turnout of 60 cars showed up during this beautiful late September Saturday.

Ed Dean won Best in Show with his 1934 Rolls Royce 20/25. Ed also won best of show at the first Autumn Leaf Show in 2004 with this special maroon over black saloon.

For the second year, George Bogert and Dan Bauer came in first and second in the early MGs through MGA class. Dan came in first in 2005. This class in general was very competitive, and I would be remiss in not mentioning that both Richard Marzuoli's 1947 MGTC and Dick Horn's 1960 MGA 1600 also received a nice number of votes in Class B.

The Jaguar class had Bryant Matyger's 1970 maroon XKE FHC and Ken Beck's 1965 XKE OTS, which also garnered a nice number of votes.

We were lucky to have Richard Fritz's exceptional 1953 Sunbeam Alpine Mk1, which he recently acquired from a collector in Missouri, at the show. Richard said that a car like this beauty was driven by Grace Kelly in the movie "To Catch a Thief," which also starred Cary Grant. The movie took place on the French Riviera which would be a neat back drop to any fine British automobile.
